Oral Health Opportunities in School-Based Health Centers

The National Maternal and Child Oral Health Policy Center, partnering with the National Assembly for School-Based Health Care, recently released a new issue brief focusing on school-based oral health services. This issue brief provides state policymakers with a brief overview of School-Based Health Centers (SBHC), opportunities to address oral health in schools–including the challenges to establishing and maintaining oral health programs, and examples of innovative applications of oral health care in schools.
