ACA: Fulfilling the Pledge to Improve America’s Oral Health

This issue brief, ACA: Fulfilling the Pledge to Improve America’s Oral Health, is a summary guide to the two white papers, A Roadmap for Implementation, Part I: Oral Health Provisions in Health Reform and A Roadmap for Implementation, Part II: Dental Care Provisions in Health Reform, both of which address the benefits of full funding and implementation of the many oral health-related provisions in the Affordable Care Act. This document can be used, not only as a guide to the two aforementioned reports, but also as a foundation for discussion when speaking with policymakers about the importance of funding these critical oral health initiatives.
