Senate's Letter to HHS on Exchanges & Consumer Protections

On October 7, 2011, eleven members of the Senate sent a letter to the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), Kathleen Sebelius, in response to the Department's proposed rule for Establishment of Exchanges and Qualified Health Plans. Mirroring CDHP's language, the Senators expressed their view that this rule is critical to ensuring that children have access to high-quality, comprehensive, affordable oral health coverage including all applicable consumer protections, regardless of the type of issuer that provides that coverage.
