Fluoride Legislative User Information Database

FLUID is a factual, comprehensive and easy-to-search database of legal cases and federal and state policies on community water fluoridation.

You'll find the legal and policy status of community water fluoridation in all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The tool allows you to compare current or proposed policies with others from across the country.

The FLUID project was initiated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is funded through CDC's cooperative agreement with the  Children's Dental Health Project (CDHP). FLUID is managed by CDHP and the Health Law & Justice Program and the Program on Law & Government at the American University Washington College of Law.
